Description
This Stage 1 package includes the basic components needed to mount your engine into your Mazda RX7 FD. This consists of Sikky’s industry leading motor mounts, trans mount, oil pan and driveshaft and is ideal for those who wishes to design their own fuel line kit, intake, wiring etc. Sikky offers many swap accessories including a master cylinder kit, T56 shifter relocation kit and more! Stainless steel headers come standard in our Stage 2 Swap Package.
Fitment Notes:
- Requires no modifications to the factory cross member or subframe and does not hang below the crossmember when installed
- Requires clearancing on the firewall to allow for ideal fitment. This kit is designed to pull the engine as far back as possible in the engine bay to allow for ideal weight distribution and to be able to retain the factory front suspension. Unlike our competitors, we believe the RX7 should retain as close to 50/50 weight distribution as possible like it did from the factory.
- Designed to work in a left hand drive vehicle. It can be used in a right hand drive vehicle with some modification (however we do not supply the components to make this a bolt in application). Please contact our sales staff for information in regards to this.
- Transmission and Shifter – This kit is designed to work with the LS1 style T56 transmission. We designed this kit to allow for the shifter to locate in the factory location for easy operation, without the need for a shifter relocation kit.
Stage 1 Package Includes:
Aluminum Race Oil Pan
- Designed to fit perfectly around the front sub frame of the FD Mazda RX7 when using Sikky mounts
- High capacity 5 1/2” deep front sump design with side kick outs for maximum oil capacity
- 1/2” thick CNC machined 6061 Billet Aluminum Flange and back plate
- Machined gasket surface to ensure no gasket leaks
- Rigid design like the OEM GM pan to ensure maximum strength and durability
- Included back plate compatible with factory dust covers to prevent debris entering the bell housing
- High ground clearance design keeps the pan from hanging out the bottom of the car
- High capacity 6 quart sump (does not include oil filter or oil filter relocation)
- Comes with pan mounted bottom port remote oil filter adapter, magnetic drain plug and hardware Kit (utilizes some factory hardware not included)
- F-Body Camaro Pickup Tube and oil pan gasket sold separately
